Adrian's Bio
Adrian was born and grew up in the south of England. He started singing as a boy chorister at age 7 in a local church choir.
He attended Weymouth Grammar School where began singing the works of Gilbert & Sullivan.
He went on to sing and act with the Weymouth Operatic Society.
He spent 10 years working as a manager in the retail book business during which time he emigrated to Canada.
He worked for many years in the publishing business in sales and sales management.
He is now living on Canada's west coast where he is working as a tour guide/motor coach operator in Victoria and the Rocky Mountains.
As a hobby he has sung and acted in amateur and professional opera and musical societies.
My strengths are:
- I am very good at "cold" reading, having a strong grasp of the English language and its intricacies.
- I have excellent diction due, in part, to my experience singing the words of Gilbert & Sullivan.
- I have much experience talking into microphones. I have been interviewed on radio and television many times during my days in publishing.
- I have always loved reading, to myself and others, and my vocabulary is quite large.
- I can speak a number of different British accents.
- I enjoy reading both books for adults and children.
